Fiona Asonga
Fiona Asonga is the CEO of the Technology Service Providers Association of Kenya (TESPOK). Her role involves ensuring Internet uptake locally and value addition in the use of the Internet to the local community. She is at the forefront of lobbying government for appropriate policy and regulatory interventions that will spur internet uptake. She leads a team at the secretariat that represents the operators in various national, regional and international forums; ensuring operators interests are addressed and negotiating the delivery of various value add services such as Kenya Internet Exchange Point and Industry Computer Security Incident Response Teams.
At the regional level, I represent TESPOK actively at the East African Communications Organization (EACO) that brings together operators and regulators of member countries of the East Africa Community (EAC).
