Ian joined CSquared in 2023, bringing with him a wealth of experience in investment management and strategic leadership across the African telecommunications sector. As the Interim Chief Executive Officer at CSquared, Ian is responsible for driving the company’s growth strategy, optimizing investment portfolios, and fostering partnerships that align with CSquared’s mission to provide high-quality internet infrastructure across the continent.

Before joining CSquared, Ian served as the Chief Investment Officer at Africell, where he played a pivotal role in overseeing the company’s investment strategies across multiple African markets. His leadership at Africell was instrumental in expanding the MNO's footprint and enhancing its financial performance in a highly competitive industry.

Prior to Africell, Ian’s career included over 15 years in investment banking, where he held various senior roles that honed his expertise in financial analysis, mergers and acquisitions, and capital market strategies. Ian holds a BA in Management Studies and French from the University of Nottingham.
