James Turuthi
James Turuthi is a distinguished C-Suite Executive and a proven leader with a rich corporate career that spans Government Engagement, Regulatory Affairs, Policy Advocacy, and boutique Business Advisory. With over 15 years of experience in technology, governance, and development, he has worked with various international organizations, governments, and the private sector.
James is currently the Chairman of the Technology Service Providers of Kenya (TESPOK), a professional non-profit organization representing the interests of technology service providers in Kenya. Established in 1999, TESPOK is recognized for its comprehensive representation of the Kenyan industry.
Additionally, James serves as a Board Member of the Kenya Network Information Centre (KeNIC), a company limited by guarantee and licensed to manage and administer the dot ke Country Code Top-Level Domain (.Ke ccTLD). KeNIC operates as a public-private partnership aimed at promoting the growth and adoption of dot ke domains.
He is also the Deputy CEO of Frontier Optical Networks, a locally owned technology company licensed to provide local, national, and international backbone connectivity in Kenya.
