Mr. Mugo KIBATI is the CEO of Telkom Kenya, driving Kenya’s oldest telecommunication firm through its next transformative phase to become the technology partner of choice in Kenya and the region.

He is also the founding Director General at Kenya’s Vision 2030 secretariat.

He has more than 20 years of commercial experience working in senior executive roles in the public and private sector, in various capacities, namely: Group CEO Sanlam Kenya PLC and Group Managing Director/CEO at East African Cables PLC.

He holds a Master of Science degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA) and an MBA from George Washington University (USA).

Mugo has also served on the Boards of several institutions and is currently the Chair of the Board of Directors of Lake Turkana Wind Power Limited and the Kenya Biovax Institute Limited.
