Premeshin Naidoo is the Managing Director and Sector Head for the TMT and Industrials client portfolios at Absa Group Limited. With over 20 years of experience in corporate and investment banking, he has experience across multiple industry sectors and geographies. Prior to joining Absa, he spent 6 years as the Head of Mining and Telecoms for Citi Bank, where he worked on several landmark capital-raising transactions across Africa.

Before returning to his current role, Premeshin spent over four years leading the Absa International, Middle East & Asia (MEA) corridor, where he was responsible for the regional strategy to grow Absa’s Corporate and Investment Banking business across the MEA region with clients looking to trade or invest in Africa.

Before his career in banking, Premeshin worked as a Civil Engineer specializing in hydraulics and hydrology and remains registered as a Professional Engineer. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) and a Master of Science in Finance (University of London), both degrees awarded with distinction. Additionally, he has attended executive management programs at Kellogg School of Management (Chicago), Gordon Institute of Business Science, and Rotterdam School of Management.
