Zizile joined AIIM in 2017 and is involved in all aspects of the transaction process, from origination to transaction execution and asset management focusing primarily on Southern and East Africa.

Zizile has worked on transactions across multiple sectors including Energy (geothermal power and renewable energy), Ports & Logistics and Telecommunications (fibre and towers). Recent investments include: the USD100m acquisition of The Logistics Group, an integrated ports & logistics operator in Southern Africa, a USD130m funding round for Eastcastle Infrastructure, a build-to-suit towers operator in the DRC and Nigeria and a USD90m investment in MetroFibre Networx, a fibre connectivity provider in South Africa.

Zizile represents AIIM as a Director on the boards of The Logistics Group, MetroFibre Networx and African Ports & Corridors Holdings

Prior to joining AIIM, Zizile completed her CA (SA)’s articles at Old Mutual Limited.

Zizile holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Financial Accounting and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Accounting from the University of Cape Town. Zizile qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2016 and has also completed CFA level 2.
